There are traces of wine production on this terroir from the beginning of the 17th century, Simon Malescot, advisor to Louis XIV to the Parliament of Bordeaux, arrived in 1697 and ushered the farm into a new era, in 1827, Count Jean-Baptiste de Saint-Exup・・ry, great-grandfather of the writer, took over the castle, this 3rd Cru Class・・ of Margaux therefore has a filiation with Antoine de Saint-Exup・・ry, the family of the aviator fixed the name of the castle before giving it over, the Zuger family bought it in 1955, at the time, the cru had only 7 hectares.
